Part-time, fluent Dutch required
2–3 days per week - Lisse, Netherlands

Our client is looking for an experienced Interim Payroll Specialist to step in and support their Payroll operations across a diverse client portfolio.

This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on variety, can hit the ground running, and is confident managing multiple Payroll processes independently.

Fluency in Dutch is essential, as the role involves handling questions around collective labor agreements and managing client communication.

Responsibilities of the Interim Payroll Specialist:

  • Managing payroll for a portfolio of clients all processed via Nmbrs

  • Handling various CAOs with clients mainly in metal and technology, recreation, hospitality, and professional goods transport

  • Responding to Payroll-related questions and interpreting labor agreements

  • Processing pensions, updates, and ensuring timely, accurate submissions

  • Acting as a go-to expert for Payroll questions across sectors

  • Working 2–3 days per week (flexible setup)

What you’ll need:

  • Proven experience in Dutch Payroll (interim or in-house)

  • Strong knowledge of Nmbrs is a must

  • Familiarity with multiple CAOs and the ability to interpret and apply them

  • A high level of independence – you’ll need to manage tasks and clients with minimal oversight

  • Stress-resistant, adaptable, and comfortable working at pace with frequent context-switching

  • Dutch fluency (spoken and written)
