EMEA Recruitment is working with a well-established multi-technology and services company. We are searching for a Finance & Controlling Specialist to join the Bern office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for key Finance and Controlling activities, including reporting, tax, treasury, and financial planning.

Key responsibilities of the Finance & Controlling Specialist:

• Take ownership of financial reporting, controlling, tax, and treasury activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, including the rolling three-month forecast
• Contribute to process automation and digitalization efforts within the Finance function
• Assist with the implementation of a new ERP system (SAP S/4HANA) and support internal control system improvements

Your profile:

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

• At least 2 years of experience in Finance and Controlling, with a strong understanding of reporting and forecasting
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and SAP (FI/CO)
• Strong analytical mindset, proactive problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Fluent in German and English - knowledge of French is a plus

In this role, you will oversee key financial processes, including monthly closings, data validation, and financial reporting for international subsidiaries.

The Financial Controller will also perform detailed profitability and cost analyses, support budgeting and forecasting activities, and contribute to strategic finance projects.

Key responsibilities of the Financial Controller include:

• Managing monthly financial closings, ensuring accurate data reporting, and preparing management-level reports
• Conducting profitability and cost analyses, and free cash flow assessments
• Supporting budget planning, multi-year forecasting, and process improvements within the finance function
• Participating in strategic projects, such as business intelligence tool enhancements and internal control improvements

Candidate profile:

• University degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Controlling, or Accounting
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in financial controlling, group accounting, or auditing in an international context
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with a strong passion for IT and business intelligence tools
• Fluent in German and English
