For one of our clients, a well-established engineering business in the Delft area, we seek a Finance professional to step into a Finance Executive role to support and build all accounting, controlling, tax and administrative tasks for the business. 

Working in a dynamic and rapidly expanding business, this is a unique opportunity for a Finance professional to take the strategic step into an Executive function and build something of their own.  
 
This position will suit someone who is proactive, self-driven, has good social skills, and has a strong technical mindset.
 
Hybrid working is available for this position.
 
The main duties of the Finance Executive are:

  • Manage and optimise all accounting, controlling and reporting functions
  • Support and advise the COO and CTO on strategic decisions
  • Build the Finance function including process improvements and build the team
  • Provide budgeting and forecasting overviews for business growth
  • Process tax, VAT and CIT for the business

The skills required for the Finance Executive:
  • Hold a Finance degree
  • 10+ years’ experience across Finance in; Accounting, FP&A, tax and controlling
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Fluent English
  • Strong stakeholder management and business partnering experience

  • Experience with listed companies is advantageous
  • Familiarity with internal and external reporting processes
  • Proficiency in Advanced Excel, including the ability to interpret SQL and create dashboards using tools like Power BI
  • Prior experience managing teams and dealing with investor relations is a plus
