We are exclusively working with an established, international expert in the production industry, who is currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst. The office is based in the south of the Noord Brabant region.

As Senior Financial Analyst, you will report to and work alongside the Head of Corporate Finance & Strategy. You will be part of an open office with accessible management, including the CFO.

This is a unique opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst who is a seasoned finance professional with business acumen.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Assist management in their decision-making by effectively communicating accurate financial insights and recommendations
Manage and maintain the group’s financial model

Recognise opportunities to streamline processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Relevant experience and qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a financial/analytical role in an international environment
Masters degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or RA qualification
Strong financial modelling skills are essential, as well as data analysis and quantitative skills
Excellent knowledge of financial statements, accounting principles and financial metrics
Confident in communicating at senior levels and articulating complex data
Solid Excel proficiency (SAP BPC and Power BI desirable)

EMEA Recruitment is proud to be working with a global logistics business in the search for a Business Controller to join its ever-growing Finance team.

As a member of the Site Management team, you\'ll play a considerable part in the drive and development of various business opportunities. Interacting with multiple stakeholders, you will also have a key role both locally and globally.

Hybrid working is available, but due to the nature of the role, site presence will be required for a minimum of three days a week.

The main duties of the Business Controller are:

Planning & Control cycle of the site which includes a long-term plan, budget, latest view and month-end reporting; understanding and explaining the story behind the numbers is key
In conjunction with the Financial Controller; prepare and analyse monthly results and present the outcome to local, regional and global management
Participate in business improvement projects with a strong focus on productivity, cost reduction and materialising commercial opportunities
Extensive analysis of financial and operational data for determining past financial performance and to identify risks and opportunities
Participation in commercial cycles and opportunities of the site
Review, approval, support and tracking of spend of capital expenditures related to the site
Participate in various regional and global initiatives

The skills required for the Business Controller position:

Master degree in Finance or Economics is preferred
6-10 years of experience as a Business Controller
Fluent in Dutch and English
Experience with IFRS
Experience in SAP, BPC and Qlik would be an advantage
Proficient in MS Office
