EMEA Recruitment is working with an international organization seeking a Rewards Specialist to join its dynamic team in Amsterdam.

You will be joining a global business, supporting all operating companies based in the Netherlands.

Your main duties will be developing competitive, fair, and motivating Reward policies and support in creating a strategic vision on Rewards.


Key responsibilities:
  • Working closely with other members of the Rewards team to design, implement, and evaluate competitive compensation
  • Modernize and simplify the overall Rewards package for the organization's entities making it more aligned with the current labor market
  • Ensure flawless execution of (yearly) Rewards processes
  • Monitor Rewards data quality and compliance, signal and implement improvement opportunities
  • Prepare and execute data analysis (dashboards, reports, benchmarks, business cases, costs impacts, etc.) for HR management
  • Perform job/employee data and Reward evaluations and analyses
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders, such as the People teams of the Dutch entities
Experience required:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Dutch Reward
  • Good knowledge of benchmarking
  • Experience with job grading using the Korn Ferry Hay methodology is preferred
  • Experience with working in an international environment and/or production environment
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic recommendations

In this role, you will be providing expert guidance and support across all areas of HR, including employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and policy development.

We are looking for someone eager to build hands-on experience across a broad range of responsibilities while becoming a true specialist in their field.

Key responsibilities of the HR Advisor:
  • Provide accurate and timely HR advice to managers and employees
  • Support employee relations matters such as disciplinary actions, grievances, investigations, and conflict resolution.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding processes, including drafting job descriptions, interviewing, and issuing contracts
  • Contribute to HR policy development and ensure policies are communicated and implemented effectively

  • Assist with reporting on HR metrics and identifying trends or areas for improvement.

Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's in a relevant field (Organizational Psychology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration)
  • Proven experience in an HR Advisor role
  • Sound knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships
  • Ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
