Our client, a growing international equipment provider business based in South Holland, is seeking an Accountant to step into the role of Group Accountant to build and grow in a newly established Finance team. 

Working in a dynamic and rapidly expanding business, this is a unique opportunity for an Accountant to take on more responsibility and recognition.

This position will suit someone who is proactive, self-driven and has good social skills, along with a strong technical mindset. 

Hybrid working is available for this position. 

The main duties of the Group Accountant are:

• Consolidating international accounts and closing processes
• Supporting the month end close activities
• Manage international internal and external stakeholders
• Manage the annual accounts for the business
• Work on system improvement projects

The skills required for the Group Accountant:

• 3-5 years of experience in Accounting
• Consolidation experience 
• Fluent in English
• Proficient Excel skills 
• Based in the Netherlands

• Overseeing and supporting projects through reviewing sales and purchase orders
• Collaborate with AP and AR to ensure costs and revenue are in the correct period
• Track projects and measure up against the project KPIs
• Project reporting during the month end close period
• Managing and supporting internal stakeholders on ongoing projects

• 3+ years of experience in Finance with evident experience supporting or managing projects
• Fluent English
• Excellent attention to detail
